Sam and Irosh

Sam and Irosh

With their Sri Lankan wedding planned for the evening at La Mirage in Somerton, we joined Sam, Irosh and their bridal party in the city for an afternoon-long shoot in the city. We had a busy day planned and after starting at their hotel, the lovely old Windsor Hotel in Melbourne, we went shooting at Parliament House, the Treasury and Fitzroy Gardens before heading over to Docklands to play on the Webb Bridge. All of these locations are popular for wedding photos and we had to dodge several other bridal parties as we travelled around the city, creating much amusement for everyone involved! With such a variety of locations we ended up with a superb selection of city, park and waterside shots and fortunately La Mirage was a 30 minute drive away so they all had time to recover on the journey! Kirsty and Chris

Kirsty and Chris

Kirsty and Chris celebrated their wedding at the Stillwater restaurant on the Crittenden Estate in Dromana. Luckily we all managed to get outside for the family and guest photos, although we did get a little damp, and we still managed to take the bridal party down to the lake for their photos. The girls just had to tread carefully in their high heels , especially when we ventured nearer to the water to get the lake in the background! In the evening the cellar door was taken over by the band, The Baker Boys and they did a fabulous job entertaining anyone willing to hit the dance...

Aneta and Tony

Aneta and Tony

With their wedding in Geelong and reception in Altona, we certainly did some travelling with Aneta and Tony! A sunny day with beach shoots was the plan but some areas were off-limits as the wedding coincided with the Road Cycling World Championship which were being held over a week in Geelong. As a result some of the beach-side parks were closed but we still managed to find somewhere to shoot the bridal party with their cars, all of which were important guests themselves! ‘The Beast’ is certainly Tony’s pride and joy and was featured in quite a few shots! Their wedding was back at the beginning of  October but they were lucky enough to go on such a long honeymoon that we have only just shown them their photos and can now publish...
