Jennifer and Daniel
Jennifer and Daniel suggested we meet at a beach during their Christmas holiday for their pre-wedding shoot and, as Brighton is mid-way between us, we suggested the park at North Point. This area has some lovely old trees for when you need shade and a rocky foreshore with views to the city, plus a new jetty where we can take some interesting graphic shots.
Two things to be aware of at this park though, the jetty has steel mesh on the walkway and if your subject is wearing high-heels they have to tread very carefully. One bridesmaid recently had to be rescued when her shoe heel became lodged in the steelwork! Secondly, the car park attendants are very keen to give you a parking fine if you dare to leave your car in a boat trailer space. We recently parked in one of these spaces, thinking it was safe as there were no trailers in sight, and that cost us $122!
So, having parked carefully and checked that Jennifer was not wearing stilleto heels, we had a great time with both of them and are looking forward to their wedding in less than a month’s time!
