Charlie!

For those of you who have been married at Summerfields you will know the lovely Sally and Simon. Just before Christmas they welcomed baby Charlie into the family and although he was a little late in arriving, it meant that our shoot was able to be rescheduled to when Sally’s parents were visiting. Amanda & Tate

Amanda & Tate

It was worth the drive through the thunderstorm last night to see Amanda and Tate to present their wedding photos as they were very excited to see them! The weather was very different on their special day when the sun shone with a welcoming cool breeze at Werribee Mansion. Their ceremony was performed by celebrant Ron Gallagher and took place in the gardens with the historic house providing a magnificent backdrop. It was a great day with a number of Amanda’s relatives having come over from the UK and for us to catch up with Tate’s family, having shot his sister Kelly’s wedding a few years ago. Amanda had arranged a lovely surprise for her Mum of a horse and carriage for them to arrive in at the ceremony. Afterwards the guests were able to take rides around the estate for the rest of the afternoon. Amanda and Tate’s friends had worked hard to decorate the Pavilion Room in a vintage style and there was a separate dance floor in a marquee where the Baker Boys had everyone dancing the night away. It was a beautiful Summer’s evening and guests were able to chat outside whilst enjoying a stunning sunset. Their bridal party were lots of fun and kept coming up with suggestions for some silly photos and then we had some quiet time with Amanda and Tate for some stunning photos around the Mansion and grounds. It’s one of those places with so many different areas you can just keep on shooting! However, at some point we did have to let them enjoy their reception which we understand carried on to the early hours of the next morning! We hope you enjoy this selection of images from their wonderful...
