Michelle & Martin’s Wedding
We caught up with Michelle and Martin recently to present their wedding photos to them! They were very excited to see them after their honeymoon in Europe visiting family in two countries and exploring a few more. We also were away during their trip visiting the UK and as chance would have it we were on the same flight out of Melbourne! Knowing they would be visiting family we had printed out a few pictures and handed over the surprise package to them at the airport, it was so lovely to be able to do this for them!
We were so lucky with the weather on their special day as it stayed calm and sunny which not only meant we were able to get some fantastic images down at Point Leo beach but the lake at Summerfields was like a mirror, so we love all the reflection shots. Venues can look quite different in the winter months but the bare trees around the property give the images a more arty and graphic feel to them!
They had hoped to have the ceremony outside but the ground was still a little wet but that is the great advantage of a venue like Summerfields as they have such a beautiful indoor ceremony room as well!
Michelle and Martin planned an entertaining day for their guests so whilst we went for photos at the beach the guests enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea followed by drinks and canapes. Michelle had arranged a surprise for the guests and after the main course an Italian chef appeared and started singing! He was followed by his Maitre d’ and they had everyone singing and waiving their napkins in the air! Martin was also invited up to accompany them during one song by playing the triangle!
During the rest of the evening the guests enjoyed dancing to the band Popcorn who are fantastic! This is the second time we’ve seen them this year and we can certainly recommend them. Michelle and Martin also had a photobooth and as you can see below everyone had great fun dressing up using the props!
Michelle and Martin had a wonderful wedding day at Summerfields looked after by Joyce and her amazing team and here are a few images from the day!
